The viewing window is always kept smaller than the picture size and approx. 4mm of your picture will be covered on each side.
Example: Size 400x400 for 300x300 Aperture size will be 292x292 and overall size will be 400x400.

Perspex has the same clarity as glass There is a protective cover paper on the both side of the Perspex sheet, Please remove that before framing your picture
Guideline about Sizing:
When measuring a frame the picture size taken in to consideration so the size given i.e. 10x8 inches will be the size of the backing board and the glass.
This size is taken from the back of the frame and not the front and not the overall size.
When picture is placed in the frame approx. 4mm of your picture will be covered from all sides i.e. for a frame size 7
